Funnix has recently partnered with Dr Read. The agreement between Dr Read and Funnix, restricts the sales of Funnix.
Dr Read retails a literacy package, which includes Funnix as the core beginning reading component. The retail price for Dr Read is appropriate for the consumer market but many times the current retail price of Funnix.
As a result of Funnix’s partnership with Dr Read, Funnix business operations are undergoing dramatic changes.
After Funnix satisfies its obligations to its current customers, Funnix will sell only 5000 additional units per year. These units can be purchased only by families and educational institutions serving at-risk students. Families and Institutions that meet the following criteria will be eligible to purchase the restricted Funnix units:
1) The children who will receive instruction with Funnix are at-risk,
2) The purchaser is unable to afford Dr. Read.
These families and educational institutions can request information about purchasing Funnix on this web site or through their local Dr Read distributor.
Each Dr Read distributor has an allocated number of Funnix units to distribute as a charitable contribution to at risk students in their area.
